Visual Infomation Archtecture
Information does not fully realize its value merely by existing. To bring out its true worth, it is essential to appropriately organize vast amounts of information and structure it visually, thereby designing it into a form that is more intuitively understandable. The world is filled with information that is difficult to find, buried, or has complex structures. My role is to systematically organize and arrange them, designing mechanisms that anyone can access easily without getting lost. Especially in website construction, I aim to design “mechanisms” where information itself has meaning and can be effectively utilized, rather than just being a collection of data. In modern times, “visualization of information” is strongly demanded in all fields, including website design, information organization, and user interface construction. Designing information to be easily understandable leads to creating an environment where knowledge can be maximized and utilized. The series of processes from organizing information to structuring it, and enabling users to use it without hesitation, is precisely the endeavor of expressing this “mechanism” through design.
